Description: You are looking at a set of 10 dinner knives in the Modern Art pattern, which was designed and patented by Ernest Meyers for Reed & Barton in 1904. Many silver scholars consider Modern Art to be one of the finest American silver patterns in the French art nouveau style ever made. The knives measure 9" in length and are in vintage condition (see photos). They have been used and some of the blades have loss of silverplate along their edges. 7 knives are unmonogramed. 2 are monogramed with an "S" and 1 with a "G". Each is marked REED & BARTON and PATENTED 1904.
