Also, There is no such thing as "Tarnish Resistant Metal". Starting with sterling silver, pure sterling is so soft it can not be used in its pure state, SO manufacturers must add something to stiffen it up and that additive is copper, hence why you must always polish your silver as it turns (Tarnish) over time from being exposed to air (Oxygen). Buyer be aware, that tarnish (blackening) will over time result in black circles on the dolls vinyl unless you plan on taking them out often and polishing the posts and making sure to not get oils from your fingers on the posts. "Gold plated" means there is a thin veneer (think cheap here) of gold plating on the surface of the metal, it is so thin, that the oils from your fingers can cause the under lying alloys to get through causing verdigris (greening). Gold filled, on the other hand, has such a thick veneer of gold (think expensive here) alloys can not get through.
