Description: Gorgeous restored GRAH & PLUMACHER - BLUE DIAMOND - straight razor. Razor has been dis-assembled, de-rusted, cleaned, polished, new bevel set, honed, waxed and is shave ready. Blade is ok with a lot of spotting/patina on both sides of blade. Does not affect edge at all. See pics for more details. Moderate to heavy hone wear. Finished with one layer of tape on spine on a vintage Thuringian hone. Blade at widest point measures at just under 5/8ths. Razor length is 6 1/4ths inches. No jimps on shank. Blade grind is approximately a 3/4 hollow. Front side of shank is stamped - BLUE DIAMOND - TRADE MARK. Back side is stamped - GRAH & PLUMACHER - SOLINGEN-WEYER - GERMANY. Scales are original SWIRLED GOLD celluloid with fancy bolsters. They look great for age. Only a few small signs of wear, with a few nicks and scratches and a tiny amount of warping. they have been cleaned, polished and waxed. Pins are tight and blade closes fine. Blade is shave ready.
