Description: DETAILS: Original vintage photograph of a young Richard Talmadge. Talmadge was an accomplished German-American acrobat, actor, stuntman and film director. He came from a family of daredevils with several members of his family who performed as noted attractions in circus and vaudeville theater. His brothers, Otto and Victor Metzetti both had success as stunt performers and were members of the vaudeville troupe "The Flying Metzettis" (aka the Five Metzettis). They were the first acrobatic troupe to perform first the quadruple back somersault. This particular photo of Richard Talmadge is from the early 1920's when the gifted performer first arrived in Hollywood. A young, handsome, determined actor with stars in his eyes! He would go on to become a silent film star with a long history of accomplishments in film. Measures approx. 8" x 10" inches.
