Description: No two Roman Eagle standards are ever made alike as each one is a customized design, just like the Romans did. The look of the one in these attached pictures however is what you will get approximately. Roman Legionary Eagle Aquila Standard carried by the Aquilifer of the Legion, Army or even the Praetorian Guard. It takes around two weeks or more to make it from date of order. This eagle standards are around seven feet tall and comes with a hard wood ask pole and Roman style steel butt spike. The eagle, it's tall display stand or platform and thunderbolt are both 100% brass metal and are a combination of cast metal and plated in brass. These are all made to order and each one will look a little different for that reason. As mentioned in my description, these standards are made to order and it takes a couple of weeks or more to make them. Thus, all end designs and weights will vary some. This eagle weighed 3.8 pounds and is close to standard on most but others could be a little more or a little less. The eagles long metal stand weights vary from 5 pounds to 8 pounds. The attached large thunderbolt in the front is not included in these weights but it is around 1 pound by itself.
