Description: Beautiful hand-painted papier-mache Russian lacquer box from the Mstera school. Based on the fairytale Troika. Box is initialed by the artist, but not signed with name. Dimensions are 2 3/4" and 2". Intricate floral scroll design around sides of box and footed. Unusual green color. Clean bottom and interior. There is some crazing (on the exterior) one can see if you use a loop, but not visible (in my humble opinion) to the human eye. Thus makes a very nice display piece. Have priced accordingly. Smoke free home.
