Description: Description: Safe-Guard Paste 10% is an equine and bovine dewormer indicated for the control of large strongyles (Strongylus edentatus, S. equinus, S. vulgaris) encysted early third stage (hypobiotic), late third state and fourth state cyathostome larvae, small strongyles, pinworms (Oxyuris equi), ascarids (Parascaris equonum), and arteritis caused by fourth stage larvae of Strongylus vulgaris in horses. Also indicated for the removal and control of lungworms (Dictyocaulus viviparus), stomach worms (Haemonchus contortus, Ostertagia ostertagi, Trichostrongylus axei), and intestinal worms (Bunostomum phlebotomum, Nematodirus helvetianus, Cooperia punctata and C. oncophora, Trichostrongylus colubriformis, Oesophagostomum radiatum) in cattle. Product has an 8 day meat withdrawal in cattle. Contains the active ingredient fenbendazole. Administer orally.
