This is a used set and shows normal utensil and storage scratches for a used set. The handles and lid knobs are a Bakelite composite material and those properties that cause them to discolor over time. They do not affect the quality and integrity of the cookware and all can be replaced by calling Saladmaster. Please view the photos as I have tried to show the actual condition of these pieces. I am also enclosing a Saladmaster cook book.
