They are pressed from vintage molds and then ground, painted, and painstakingly detailed by hand. The paint is permanent high-temperature fired enamel. These buttons have a wonderful 3-D quality and glow from reverse. Each measures approx. 52mm (2") wide and has a metal shank. They are purple crystal glass that is painted on the front with bright silver enamel accents and on the back in a silvered metallic mirror back enamel finish. Gorgeous! They make wonderful embellishments to clothes, knits, hats, crafts, and can even be used in jewelry making!! We specialize in limited edition Czech buttons.
