They just keep going even when put under heavy use and abuse. This knife built a bit like a mini tank and is very solid when open with no blade play at all. It is a liner lock but with textured aluminum alloy handle scales,unheard of in a knife of this cost and another reason I love the brand. Acts as a bottle opener when closed and of a size you can forget your are carrying but of a size that will do most all you will need of a knife on average day. Compact but of a very useful size and feels secure in hand.
