Description: THIS IS AN ORIGINAL "CHICAGO FACTORY MADE" SCHWINN SPEEDSTER! ...I'm not the original owner here so no history available except for its believed to be a [ "1970s' MADE " ] bike pertaining to a manufacturer date, I had this bike about 10yrs, Rode it several times but considering that I am a rather tall individual, I have since grown a liking to the now-trendy electric bicycles...This bike needs only a couple of enhancements to be a real top notch collector item.... 1) - "The shifter mechanism at the rear wheel [see photo #8] need repair" ...(Shifter is fine but the bike rides on third speed only)! 2) - "Front rim has a warp that tends to rub against the rubber brake shoe on one side, I've adjusted the caliper to minimize wear to the front shoes" AND LASTLY....A once-over detail job would make it an absolute beauty! Not really interested in collecting schwinn's and since I won't be riding this one anymore I'm letting it go...Priced to clear out!...
