Schwinn Stingray , 3-Spd, 1968 dated frame, SCREENED chain guard & forks. SWEET.

Description: Schwinn Stingray "Stik-Shift" 1968 model. This is an original 1968 frame ( Serial #KD 33219 ) and chain guard, that has been repainted and screened ( guard ). Also included is a 69 or 79 dated fork that is ready to go. The frame does have some very minimal paint loss, touch ups, scratches, and imperfections. It is rough in several spots. It does not have any other frame damage. See the pictures for exactly where the rough areas are located. Once assembled, most of the rough areas will be covered up with parts. The frame, forks and chain guard were restored using a" Hyper-formance " paint kit. The color came out a little darker than a factory "sky blue" paint finish. You will get both sets of bearing cups and the NOS head badge too. This was going to be a fenderless 3-speed bike. We are closing out all bicycle building and resto projects. The set will be perfect as a 3 or 5 speed, 2-speed kickback, or a rider for a cool kid. This item is 56 years old, so..... Ask questions. Examine all of the photographs.
