Sega CD 2 Game Console With Adapter MK-4102 For Parts No Power

Description: Picked this up at a garage sale hoping to start a sweet Sega CD library, but it doesn't power on. I have no history with it other than that. I tested with a Genesis Model 2 connected, and using a Genesis model 1 power supply. I believe a few screws are gone missing from the underside. I checked that the fuse is good, then used 93% isopropyl to clean the connector, but no dice. Thats the limit of my investigation. The cd door needs some gentle prying persuasion to open, and there was a disc-shape piece loose inside. It's in the photos. The model 2 Genesis adapter plate is there, along with the mounting screw and another little metal part. Please feel free to ask any questions!
