Description: Selmer K-Modified Trumpet, Paris, Serial No. 19183 circa 1957, Recently Serviced, includes Bach 6C Mouthpiece and New Protec Gig Bag This lovingly cared-for and iconic K-Modified trumpet (from the line favored by Louis Armstrong among many others) dating from roughly 1957 has been recently serviced by Dana Hofer Instrument Repair in Des Plaines, Illinois. The horn was disassembled and sonically cleaned, including the inside valve casings, brass brush valves and slide tubes, then the valves reassembled and realigned using new felts and water keypads. Silver was hand-polished where needed. Included is a Bach 6C mouthpiece and new Protec gig bag. See pix for details, although they don't really do this horn justice. From the mother-of-pearl keys to the clean, balanced design to the stunning engraving on the bell, they just don't make 'em like this anymore!
