These are beautiful Crystal glass buttons with a pressed design in the underside of the button and hand painted in pink. They are not washable as it will take off the paint. They are 1/2 inch across. These have never been used or been in circulation before. They have been removed from their original card and sewn to a card reproduced from the early 1900's. These buttons were manufactured For the Haute Couture Houses in the early 1900’s. They have been stored since before WWII. They are wonderful pieces of history that can only add to your crafting projects. The buttons are in new/old condition and time has still for them and they are in new condition. The buttons are not washable. These beautiful glass gems would add a touch of history and beauty to any project whether it is used for sewing or jewelry.
