Description: Set of 6 Boston & Sandwich Engraved Roman Key & Star Blown Flint Glass Bowls 19th C. They measure 4 1/2" across, and 2 1/2" high. Bottom of each has a nice polished pontil on base. They are all in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. This needle etched pattern can be seen in Barlow & Kaiser's Sandwich glass book, vol4, page 227, fig 4238, etched on a pickle jar. They date to the 1880's.
