Description: Shea Stadium Mets Bleacher Bench 20 and 1/4" with MLB Hologram and Mets Letters. The Mets provided you 18" of Butt space when you sat in these Bleachers in the Pepsi Picnic Area in Left center field. So this one gives you a little bit extra room. The Holograms have lost some of their background luster due to the surface that they were placed on but the serial numbers are still totally readable an the fact that the Bleacher Seat #12 is in tact, is a inor miracle, as so many were peeled off by fans, especially in the last weeks of Shea. I colored matched and installed end caps on the piece to give it a nice finished look. The Mets initially tried selling Shea Bleacher Benches upon Shea's Demise. Well, that didn't go very well. They were ugly benches with Black angle iron legs, and came with a disclaimer, "Not to be used as a Seat"...and I know, as I purchased one LOL. They sold for 289. I will provide a copy of the Letter the Mets Provided upon purchasing a Bleacher Bench seat. I will also provide a copy of the MLB Hologram Doc from MLB's authentication site.I will also provide a Very High Quality 8X10 paper copy of the Bleachers, shown in attached pics. It's suitable for framing and would look great displayed above this rare Shea Relic in your Man Cave. Well I had the opportunity to buy ALL the remaining bleachers after that, and I DID ! Since that time I've been coming up with various Cool Bleacher Benches that have been a Big HIT !! To say that my inventory has dwindled over the 16 years since Shea's been gone, would be a huge understatement. If this catches your eye, Don't Wait, as there are not many left and this might be your last chance to own a piece of Shea.
