A 4-arm chainring with 96 mm B.C.D. ensures an efficient transmission of pedal force. The Deore crankset with a chain line of 52 mm and a Q-factor of 178.5 mm is suitable for dropouts which feature an O.L.D. of 135, 142 or 148 mm. M5100 Right Shifter: The Shimano Deore SL-M5100 shift lever is characterized by its simple and smooth-running operation so that the driver can concentrate solely on the trail ahead. The I-Spec EV construction already familiar from XTR, Deore XT and SLX has also found its way into the Deore components. With this technology the shifting levers can be mounted directly to the brake lever, what makes it possible to dispense with a clamp and to significantly increase the adjustment range.
