Description: By way of introduction I am the person who discovered Siberian Blue Quartz, and gave it its name. It was originally a natural quartz mined in the Ural mountains, shipped to a small village in Russia where, at a secret KGB laboratory, -- the inorganic chemistry facility, VNIIMS, and its Director Boris Dorogovin The natural quartz crystals were minded in the Ural Mountains, and sent to the VNIIMS lab where they were ground to dust, mixed with non-radioactive Cobalt, and regrown on Beryllium seed crystals in 36 feet long titanium autoclaves. I obtained 1500 kilos from this secret lab, and brought it to the U.S., and had it cut into jewelry -- tennis bracelets, pendants, and the like, as well as dolphins -- and sold it on Home Shopping Network. With the fall of the Soviet Union, the lab closed and my program ended. Recently in a storeroom, I found the remnant of that program, approximately 140 kilo blocks of the rough, still in their original Russian boxes, with Russian certifications. I am interested in selling this material. Attached is a picture of the block I am selling. It weighs 1090 grams. It is 6.25-inches long by 4.25-inches wide, and is 1 inch thick. There are no occlusions. This material is of a far superior quality, and a darker and richer color compared to anything on the market today. I am selling it for $0.50 a gram = $545 for this block
