Description: Sig has not manufactured this kit in several years. They're beginning to ramp up manufacturing with what looks to be a focus on ARFS. It is not known if SIG MFG will ever begin manufacturing these old school balsa kits. As sad as that is, it is becoming increasingly evident that the Sig Kobra, Kougar, and King Kobra will not be manufactured anymore. IMO, Sig balsa kits are on the verge of extinction so if you ever wanted a Sig Kobra, now might be the time to buy one. Everyone sold is one less until they're all gone. Don't wait! Note: My Kobra has been highly modified into a taildragger with retracts. See video and photos. The kit version is tricycle fixed landing gear. This plane fly's beautifully and is very fun! This kit is in perfect order with all parts. Don't wait! They'll only get more and more expensive. Until they're gone altogether. IMO This is the best plane Sig ever made and I've absolutely loved flying mine! Even harder to find today is the Kobra bigger sisters (.40 size) Kougar II and (.60 size) King Kobra. All three are absolutely classics and a gem to fly. Description on Model from the SIG The model in the video is mine. It’s converted to a tail dragger. Has eflight retracts and flaps. Powered by a super Tigre .34 with tuned pipe. Flys absolutely amazingly. I love it. Happy to provide specs if you want to do that mod. website: Are you having trouble shoe-horning a big model into a small car or small apartment? The little Kobra provides "hot dog" performance in a compact, easy to transport size. All of the great flying characteristics of our popular Kougar and King Kobra have been reduced into this junior-size bundle of excitement. The same sleek jet-style look, the same wall-to-wall aerobatic capabilities, the same built-in wing washout for slow speed stability, the same easy-to-build balsa fuselage with the unique formed plastic top - only in a smaller package! The Kobra even penetrates the wind like a much bigger model and there is plenty of room inside for standard size radios.
