This DecoEmboss die elegantly embosses beautiful designs onto different shapes of metal blanks, creating stunning metallic embossed embellishments. The embossed image is on both sides giving you a positive or negative option (or use some of both in your creation). This 2 3/8" x 2 5/8" die works with either malleable metal pieces or special Vintaj blanks to create your embossed piece. Or you can purchase 24 or 26 guage metal sheets at your local home improvement store to create your own blanks. You will get a deeply embossed embellishment when you run your metal and this die through either the BIGkick (including the Vintaj Special Edition), Big Shot or Vagabond machines, with a set of Cutting Pads and the platform. Use it to create or decorate unique metal embellishments for personalized projects such as jewelry, cards, scrapbook pages, boxes, frames and much more. Nothing says you care like a hand-made gift. To highlight the raised areas of the blank, use the Vintaj Metal Reliefing block (not sold by us). For different design possibilities with a DecoEmboss die, place the metal blank onto varying areas of the die with each use. (This gives the added benefit of more even wear.) There are MANY common hobby products and techniques to create wonderful patinas on your creation.
