Description: Ernst Eigener was a German war artist and frontline soldier during WWII. This is the second of two sketchbooks he made before his death in 1942 at Stalingrad. The sketches carry the immediacy of work done under fire. This is a rare collectible volume published by the propaganda department of the Third Reich in 1942 containing 45 illustrations. This second volume of Eigener's work is becoming rarer and much more difficult to find than his first book, Mein Skizzenbuch, which presents his earlier work dealing with the invasion of France. Condition is Used. Size: 7 1/8" x 5 3/8. Shipped with USPS First Class Package. Cover & interior exceptionally good condition for a 75 year old book. No returns accepted unless item is shown to be other than as presented.
