This particular shape is one of the most useful shapes in the huge assortment of punches available from the Punch Bunch. Delicate little flowers that can be grouped in all sorts of arrangements for any type of card or invitation. Because the indentations between the petals are deep, the shape can be "cupped" more than most shapes and will take on much more dimension. Punching this shape from any pastel papers, shaping, and then arranging in tight clusters will give you a Lilac flower that looks amazingly real. Punched from assorted pastel papers, shaped, glued onto a half a styrofoam ball they make wonderful hydrangeas. Simply change the arrangement shape for the LILAC. This is a Small LILAC PETAL punch by The Punch Bunch. The small size means the punched out shape measures 5/8 inch across, and is a regular plunger style punch that is open on the underside so you can see where you are punching. These make great additions for tags or small scrapbooking elements or for mixing and matching with the other sizes available in this design.....mini and small. For a similar shape in the MEDIUM size use the Shamrock/Clover and remove the stem. If you do scrapbooking, quilling, punchart, or card crafting, this punch will add a lot to your art projects. The mini punches are most versatile as they can be used on their own to create flowers or designs or can be used in conjunction with other shapes or just as design elements The punched shapes can be used flat to create shapes for scrapbooking or can be molded slightly with a stylus to create realistic looking additions for cards or to add as fillers to quilling. When molding the mini shapes it is best to use the very finest point stylus, such as the one I sell in my store, as the ends are small enough to fit in the centers. The mini punches can also be used to create interesting borders when punched along the edges of cards. They are also often used as a base shape to create your sculpted flowers on, making the flowers easier to handle and add to an arrangement. All the punches I sell are brand new; however I do open them and punch one or two shapes to make sure they work properly. This way I know that they are in perfect condition when they leave my possession. If you feel this testing will change the condition from new to used, please specify and I will not check yours. The wider paper quilling strips, such as ¼ , 3/8, and 5/8 widths, are also ideal for use with the mini, small and sometimes medium size punches.
