Listing Details: -As is Sony TC-73 cassette corder for parts or repair. -Case has scratches/scuffs/dents. -Volume adjustment knob is missing. -Record button is missing metal plate/cover and part of it has broken off. -There is a piece of plastic broken off where the carry handle pulls out. This doesn’t effect the handle and is just cosmetic. -The case appears to be slightly bent in the front. -The AC cord attached to the unit is not the original plug for the unit and is a modification the previous owner made to the unit. This may have required disconnecting other wires internally, but we are not sure as we didn’t make this modification. It does however, power the player. -The player spins, but makes a scrapping sound which is then transferred to recordings. -It does record to tapes and the speaker works, but as previously stated, the scraping noise also records so will need to be fixed if you want to use it for recording.
