Description: Soviet Russian USSR WWII medal Order of the Red Star with serial number in the 3 million range awarded in 1954 to Major Andronik Petrovich Minasov / Minasyan, who was decorated in WWII with a Bravery Medal, Red Star, and Order of the Red banner for his combat service in the 44th SPETSNAZ Engineering Brigade. He also earned medals for the Liberation of Belgrade, the Capture of Budapest, and the Capture of Vienna – the so-called Danube band. Note that Minasov’s name is given with different variations in some archival documents, as would often happen when the awardee was a member of a Soviet ethnic minority and the names were “Russianized”. Condition is outstanding, as seen in the images! The serial number of the award is authentic and matches the serial number shown in the archival documents, obviously!
