Description: This is a listing for a PURPLE STM32F407VGT6 MCU on an Arduino Mega2560 socket. This is meant to run rusEFI or Speeduino engine management system. Either the custom MEGA100 rusEFI firmware (https://github.com/rusefi/fw-custom-mega100), or the STM32 port of Speeduino firmware. But if you just need to update a Mega2560 based system to STM32, this might work as well. The motivation behind this is to be able to retrofit Speeduino boards with either Speeduino firmware on stm32, with additional CANbus features, or be able to switch to rusEFI while keeping the same hardware. This has onboard CANBUS PHY connected to PD1/PD0 ( can0 ALT_2 in stm32 world) for communicating with peripherals over canbus. This board has 16 voltage dividers (470/1k) to scale 5v signals down to 3.3v, as well as opamps for those 16 analog inputs. This board DOES have buffers between some Mega socket and CPU pins. There are 7 pins not connected on the Mega header. The board does not come with Mega pin sockets installed, please source your own. They should be quite cheap on the usual places. you can either use generic socket pins and cut them to length and solder them in, or specific kits to Mega2560 This board has USB-C port for flashing using DFU. There is a spot for ST-LINK header to flash that way as well. There are two buttons, one for RESET and one for BOOT0. They are not labeled. Boot button is at the very corner of the board, reset button is towards the header. The pinout of this board matches pazi88's STM32_MEGA boards. The pinout for this board is as follows, along with buffer status, buffers help drive 5v signal OUT to operate devices not compatible with 3.3v. However, buffered pins can no longer be used as INPUTS, only OUTPUTS. please be mindful of the pinout of your Mega socket
