Stanley Bedrock No 605 Woodworking Hand Plane Patent April 2, 1895 Type 4 body

Description: Stanley Bedrock No 5 woodworking hand plane. The plane body and lever cap are a Type 4 1908-1910. Patent date behind the frog is April 2, 1895. Frog has a B casting mark, no patent date on the lateral adjuster. B casting mark on the inside of the lever cap. The cutter is a Type 10 1936-1941. Some japanning missing, some rust spots, some scratches, 3 drilled dimples on the left cheek of the body (maybe an owner's mark), missing stain on both sides on the lower part of the tote.
