Stanley No 5 Type 19

Description: Up for sale is a used Stanley no 05 type 19 in great condition. I love this plane, but everything must go. The sole received a quick lapping back when I bought it just to clean it up a bit. You may wish to take it further. The blade has a heavy camber and is polished both back and bevel. Everything functions well and the plane could pull double duty as a rough plane/ smoother with just a little extra tuning. I left the frog alone, never felt the need to flatten it. The previous user seems to have applied a thick layer of finish over the tote and knob. The tote isn’t chewed up, it’s just the finish being chipped off. I’ve included pictures of it. The plane will arrive sharp and ready to work. I’m charging a $20.00 flat rate for shipping. I’ll gladly refund the difference in shipping costs if the price of shipping is lower.
