Stax SR-5 Earspeakers -- NOS Electrostatic Elements NEVER USED

Description: This auction is for a NEVER USED, matched pair of electrostatic elements for Stax SR-5 Earspeakers (may also fit some contemporaneous models). I purchased them as spares from Stax in circa 1979. They arrived in the small Ziploc bags visible in the photos, where they have remained since then. At the time, I had figured that the originals would eventually wear out or degrade. But, they didnt -- the originals are still performing flawlessly to this day. The reason for this auction is that I now only rarely use the SR-5 Earspeakers, since I have grown more favorable to my MartinLogan Loudspeakers. THESE UNUSED ELECTROSTATIC ELEMENTS HAVE BEEN TESTED, AND HAVE BEEN FOUND TO BE IN EXCELLENT OPERATIONAL CONDITION. They present a rare opportunity as new old stock replacements for these no-longer-available elements.
