For your consideration is this ANTIQUE lot of (9) NINE assorted brands 100+ year old EMPTY shaving straight razor storage boxes in varying conditions ranging from fair to good. The boxes range from the 1920’s to 1890’s. If you collect antique and vintage shaving or barber memorabilia this lot is what you are looking for. This is the opportunity to pair your single straight razor with an original period matching storage box. There are several individual brand boxes that are increasingly hard to find and are considerably worth more by themselves. As previously stated, this lot consists of a total of (9) nine assorted brand EMPTY straight razor boxes. To the best of my ability I identified the different brands of straight razor boxes and listed each below (in no specific order) for your review and further consideration. 1. E. Boker & Co’s. Unrivaled Razor 2. The B Special Razor (advised pre-1890’s) Manufactured by Wade & Butcher Sheffield England 3. Extra Hollow Ground Fully Warranted Germany 4. Invincible Razor L. Lowe Co. Unidentified (embossing eligible) 9. Coffin Style Shaped Box (unbranded) All the boxes retain their original fitted tops as depicted in description photo #6. The razor boxes all measure between approximately 7.0” long, 1.25” wide and 5/8” thick. The nine boxes together have a combined weight of approximately 8.0 ounces. Refer to description photos #19 and #20 to confirm the approximate sizes and for more details about what I have described. To assist in your evaluation of the boxes I included individual photographs of the front of each razor box. Refer to description photos #7, #8, #9, #10, #11, #12, #13, #14 and #15. Note, I included two additional photos #16 and #17 depicting the coffin style razor box and Photo #18 identifying the Wade & Butcher Box. I also included photographs depicting both ends of the boxes as can be confirmed in description photos #3 and #4. Overall, all (9) nine boxes remain structurally intact and are original as found. As can be confirmed in the description photos, all the boxes show genuine age along with scattered surface blemishes from handling and honest use throughout the decades. All have light amounts of scattered surface blemishes and sporadic wear marks with differing amounts of small areas of paper loss as can be confirmed in the description photos. The aforementioned notwithstanding, all the boxes do remain structurally intact, fully functionally and will display beautifully as is.
