Stratamed Innovative gel wound dressing, 5 g DESCRIPTION Stratamed is a quick-drying and flexible full-contact wound dressing that provides an optimal environment for wound healing and reduction of symptoms (redness / depigmentation, itching, pain, discomfort). Stratamed can be used immediately after procedures to prevent abnormal scarring. When used correctly, Stratamed dries to form a gas permeable and waterproof protective film that hydrates and protects compromised skin areas and open wounds and protects against chemical and microbial invasion. Stratamed was developed for use on all types of superficial injuries, burns, skin tears and abrasions, including those resulting from: • general and cosmetic surgery • trauma • 1st and 2nd degree burns • radiation therapy • bites • abrasions, scratches • laser therapy, including tattoo removal • chemical peels • dermabrasion • cryotherapy • acne and other skin diseases. Stratamed can also be used in conjunction with other invasive scar treatments, including surgical excision and repair, intralesional steroid injections, laser therapy, and compression garments to improve treatment outcomes. Stratamed is suitable for children and people with sensitive skin. Stratamed can be used in infants, during pregnancy and breastfeeding. Composition: Polysiloxanes, siloxane resin. Use: Stratamed should be used once or twice a day or as directed by a doctor, applying a very thin layer to the affected areas and letting it dry for 5-6 minutes.
