Description: Here for your consideration is a fabulous, antique, circa 1905, handmade, A.E. Jones, Art Nouveau, Arts & Crafts, hammered finish, Edward VII, copper trinket/jewellery/cigarette box, with cedar wood lining, Celtic crossbanding and a beautiful blue enamel/copper cabochon/roundel, set to the lid. Please take time look at all 12 photos to fully appreciate the exquisite quality of workmanship in this magnificent copper box.A truly stunning piece of Edwardian Arts and Crafts workmanship, made by 'Albert Edward Jones', in 1905. Considering this trinket/jewellery cigarette box is 110 years old it's in very good original condition, with no splits or damage. The box does have general age-related wear and staining as shown in my photos, commensurate with its 110 years of age, but nothing unusual. When you actually consider what this exquisite box has probably been through, certainly two world wars, we think it just adds to its character. What is nice is the fact that it's totally unspoilt, which over the years has created a beautiful age related patina !!A.E.
