Description: Normal 0 false false false MicrosoftInternetExplorer4 This Rare double vinyl LP is called Tyrannosaurus Rex A Beginning and was a 1972 release by A&M Records. Tyrannosaurus Rex was essentially Marc Bolan, and percussionist Steve Took, with an uncredited band member being producer Tony Visconti. For the most part these songs are simple, almost sounding like a memory from one’s childhood, unplaceable, as if only a fever dream. And to that end Tyrannosaurus Rex was very successful, with their use acoustic guitars and an array of drums ,variations of hand held and hand drummed precessions, many of which created sounds as yet unheard in the folk and rock circles. Marc was attempting to bring back a glory that never existed anywhere, except in the imagination of the dreamer, times of grace, castles and knights, conquests of love, and all of the music mapped out in the stars for all to hear, if they would but only take the time. One vinyl is titled "Prophets, Seers And Sages - The Angels Of All Ages" and the other vinyl is titled "My People Were Fair And Had Sky In Their Hair... But Now They're Content To Wear Stars On Their Brows". There are so many great songs featured here like "Deboraarobed" , "Wind Quartets" , "Salamanda Palaganda" , "Oh Harley (The Saltimbanques)" , "Scenescof Dynasty" , "Hot Rod Mama" , "Child Star" , "Chateau In Virginia Waters" , "Dwarfish Trumpet Blues" , "Wielder Of Words" and "Frowning Atahuallpa (My Inca Love)" !
