Takamine Santa Fe Acoustic Electric Guitar

Description: Up for sale is a Takamine LTD97 acoustic electric Santa Fe "Gecko" Limited Edition guitar made in 1997 with S/N 97010748. I bought this guitar from the original owner that has hardly been played and in absolute MINT condition with the exception of a (tiny) ding on the top near the pre-amp system and by no means through the finish. It looks the same as it came from the factory. It is made with high-quality woods with a solid spruce top and "book matched" Koa wood sides and back, and very nice inlay work. The Mohogany neck is very comfortable to play with a high-quality rosewood fretboard The electronics work perfectly, and it has a very nice sound. I used the truss rod to straighten the neck and sanded a lot off the bottom of the bone saddles. Both of which helped to lower the action quite a bit. I planned to lower the string height at the nut but looked everywhere and couldn't find my set of string slotting files. I'm selling it because I was planning to learn some of the acoustic finger style of playing that never happened and always go back to playing more of the jazz style and what I like best.
