The movie stars Beverly Garland (of "NOT OF THIS EARTH" movie fame) , Bruce Bennett, Lon Chaney Jr., George Macready, Richard Crane, Frieda Inescort, and Douglas Kennedy. It was directed by Roy Del Ruth. This restored movie poster is Folded and measures 14" x 36", called an Insert poster. Most original movie posters released pre 1985 are Folded. This is not considered a flaw or a defect. This original movie poster is graded C8.5 Very Fine. Original movie posters are graded as follows from the top down: C10 (Mint), C9 (Near Mint), C8 (Very Fine), C7 (Fine/Very Fine), C6 (Fine or Very Good), C5 (Good to Very Good), C4 (Good), etc. Looking at the flaws that we have described above, we recognize that this Insert is not the strongest C8.5 we have, and in fact could have easily been graded a C8 Very Fine. Probably somewhere between a C8 and and C8.5 would be a better grade after close inspection under bright light. But in viewing the poster at a normal viewing distance, it certainly deserves the C8.5 grading, in our opinion. We did our best to add photos that show - close up - the flaws that we mentioned so you - the potential buyer - can decide for yourself.
