Description: SIDESHOW COLLECTIBLES / WETA POLYSTONE STATUE LORD OF THE RINGS THE ORIGINAL CAVE TROLL STATUE - 2002 #417/750 This statue is long SOLD OUT and VERY rare to find in good condition. It is now an 18 year old statue, they are becoming more and more rare. LIMITED TO ONLY 750 WORLDWIDE! Statue has been opened and checked for damage. It has not been on display and was originally purchased from a seller on eBay. The box is in good condition with regular shelf wear, I do NOT have the original cardboard mailer box. I am a collector and not a re-seller, I have just amassed too many statues and am required to sell of a few. Feel free to check out some of my other auctions!! Please check the pictures carefully. I have tried my best to show the detail without disturbing too much of this rare statue. The statue is in excellent shape, nothing broken especially the hammer arm as this is the weakest point on this statue. This statue has been in heated storage since purchased, exact year unknown but somewhere around 2004-2005. SHIPPING I try and set my shipping prices as close to what I would be charged by the carrier. Shipping is quite high in Canada unlike USPS. Most shipments will ship via CanadaPost/USPS. Other methods are available but I've found from previous shipments they are usually more expensive. Please note that shipping insurance is capped at $1000CDN for US shipments and $5000CDN for Canadian shipments. Personally I am not a fan of shipping insurance as I find trying to get any sort of payment for the damage takes an incredibly long time and is quite time consuming. A lot of personal information is required to be collected to be sent by the shipper. I have personally received broken shipments but have absorbed the cost as I know the chance of getting a settlement, especially after the shipping company has a signature is a pain and rare. My packages are shipped with great care and if possible I will provide extra protection as long as it keeps the cost of shipping minimal. Shipments require tracking and signature, unfortunately for US shipments it requires it to be shipped via Xpresspost, an expensive but quick method. Any duties and taxes are the responsibility of the buyer and it set by your country, they are not included in the selling price.
