Description: Up for sale is a Very Rare, SIGNED First Book Club Edition, (BCE), of The Chronicles Of Amber: Volume I by Roger Zelazny. Nine Princes In Amber. The Guns Of Avalon. One, single volume. SIGNED Copies of this Title are Scarce and Becoming Increasingly Hard to Find!! N 24 Gutter Code. Hardcover with its original, beautifully illustrated dust jacket. Jacket painting by Boris Vallejo. Colors still vibrant and on full display. Published by Nelson Doubleday: Garden City, New York. Exact date unknown, presumably published sometime in the late 1970's/early 1980's. Boldly SIGNED on the title page by the celebrated author! NOT inscribed to anyone, simply SIGNED by the great Roger Zelazny! Please note there is an additional signature present on this page! Initially, we believed the other signature might be of some importance. Unfortunately, we have been unable to ascertain, with an acceptable degree of certainty, the identity of the other individual who also put their signature on this page. For this reason, we MUST proceed with an abundance of caution and assume the other signature is simply the name of a previous owner. The additional signature adds no monetary value or has any cultural significance. If anything, the additional signature should be viewed as an unfortunate flaw!Once again, we want to repeat that there is another signature present on the same page as the Roger Zelazny signature and we believe this signature is simply the name of a previous owner.A First American Book Club Edition, (BCE). Please remember this is NOT the First Edition/First Printing of this title! This is a BCE, essentially an early reprint. Once again, this is NOT a First Edition/First Printing. This rare treasure has some very clearly visible wear, but is still in Highly Desirable, Highly Collectible condition! The wear, however, is considerable and should be carefully examined/considered BEFORE buying. The book appears gently read and other than the presumed previous owner signature we mentioned earlier, has no internal writing, no remainder marks, no missing pages and is NOT Ex-Libris. The binding is holding firm and tight. All of the pages are present and fully attached. Some general/shelf wear along with creases/scuffing/wear to the spine/corners/boards, marks/foxing/wear to the edge/fore pages and creases/marks/foxing/wear to the pages, NOT affecting the text! Please note the wear to the spine/corners/boards, particularly noticeable near/along the edges, the marks/foxing on the top edge pages and the wear that is present on the pages, very noticeable on certain pages. All of the wear previously mentioned is considerable and very clearly visible. The wear should be carefully examined/considered. The original dust jacket is fully intact but has extensive wear. Some general/shelf wear along with creases, scuffing, rips and marks. There are also numerous, large marks and a very large piece of tape on the inside of the dust jacket! Please note the wear on the spine, at the corners and near/along the edges! The wear, particularly near/along the edges and on the inside of the dust jacket, is very clearly visible and should be carefully examined/considered. We tend to grade the condition of our books rather harshly and took into consideration any and all wear when determining the value of this rare book. We purposely and closely photographed what we consider to be the most obvious and egregious wear. Once again, we want to reiterate that the wear to both the book and the dust jacket is considerable and VERY clearly visible! All of the wear should be carefully examined/considered BEFORE buying. Numerous photographs from various angles were taken for your consideration/inspection.Please closely and carefully view ALL the pictures for further clarification!!Payment must be received within three days or the book will be re-listed. Please feel free to contact us with any and all questions. We are very proud of our 100% positive feedback/ranking and offer an easy, no questions asked return policy so you can buy with confidence! Thank you!!
