Description: The New Addams Family is a '90s revival of the original 60's Addams Family show about the spooky clan and their ghoulish brood who put `fun' into dysfunctional. The series ran from October 1998 to August 1999 on YTV in Canada and Fox Family in the United States and CITV in the United Kingdom. The family remains the same: Gomez, Morticia, Wednesday, Pugsley, Uncle Fester, Granmama, Lurch, Thing, and Cousin Itt. They're still spooky, and they still have a lot of neighbors and other outsiders who are freaked out by the family's macabre shenanigans. Similar stories as the original show, but in color with added touches such as, a Judge Judy character, the internet, swing music, guest stars of note, and the occasional appearance of John Astin as Grandpapa. Some of the episodes in this series are remakes of the original series episodes with some episodes being exclusive to this show. Diane Delano as escaped convict Ginger Gruber also played in the Addams Family Reunion movie where she played the part of Delores. She is also known as Sergeant Barbara Semanski on the CBS television series Northern Exposure and Roberta "Bobbi" Glass on The WB television series Popular. Morgan Fairchild as Lady Pretensia is known for her roles in Search for Tomorrow, Dallas, Flamingo Road, Roseanne, Cybill and Friends. David Faustino; best known as "Bud" in Married With Children. Brendan Fehr as Sam Sedgewick, Wednesday's Crush. Brendan spends most of the show getting blown up. Best known for portraying Michael Guerin in the WB television series Roswell, and for portraying Dan Cooper in CSI: Miami. In 2008, Fehr won a Gemini Award for "Hottest Canadian Male TV Star". Fehr also played Dr. Drew Alister on the NBC drama The Night Shift. Scott Swanson as Donald Grump is known for his roles in The Butterfly Effect, Agent Cody Banks, 3000 Miles to Graceland, and The X-Files television series. Darryl Scheelar plays the cat burglar. But Darryl's main claim to fame is that he is also Glenn Taranto's stunt double. Too bad that he doesn't talk and you don't get to see his face in his cat burglar part.
