Description: Antique cabinet card of two women photographed in Topeka, Kansas by the Charles Snyder's studio. Women appear to be sisters and very possibly twins. A little hard to tell since one face is a profile and the other is more straight on. But age and hair seems very similar. Wonderful ornate dresses. Photography studio is listed as Snyder. Charles J Snyder operated in Topeka for many years starting in about 1880. Guessing that this is on his earlier side since he does not have the ornate decoration that is on the backs of many of his cabinet cards. Cabinet card is a bit larger than usual. See photos for dimensions. Approximately 5" x 7.25. Exact date of photo is unknown, but guessing circa 1890s. CONDITION: Please check photographs thoroughly for signs of wear. Looks like this cabinet card spent some time right next to another cabinet card. You can see the imprint of a man on the back.
