Description: This is a Trowbridge print of an engraving done by Richard Earlom of a Claudele Lorrain's sketch. The original published date was May 4th, 1775 by John Bodell in Cheapside (London). The original drawing was in the collection of The Duke of Devonshire. The attention to detail, in both the artwork and framing, is of the highest quality. It features a gold leaf wood frame, matted with high quality mat board and features a gold leaf inner lined mat. The reverse side is covered with a Masonite board for stability. I purchased this print for a client but it was never delivered. It, along with others I have listed, has hung in my design studio for about 10 years. I am downsizing and wish to find a good home for this wonderful piece of art. It needs to be out where it can be seen and admired and not stuck away in a box.
