This is a dug piece that was found here in the Shenandoah valley by one of the early local relic hunters. This plate has a great look to the brass with a very nice patina and some of the original dirt. There are a couple dents along the edge but not bad.The back is still lead filled and both iron hooks have been lost to time. Very nice dug example!! This item is guaranteed 100% original.
