Description: This is an outstanding example of a jacket that was created by a Black Knights sailor who was an aviation structural mechanic (AM) and who participated in this squadron (VF-154 - F-14 Tomcats). He participated in RIMPAC 1990 and there are two great patches on back of jacket. He was on the USS Constellation during the WESTPAC 1989 cruise. Nice patch on back from this too. The back has an Any Knight Baby F-14 patch and the front has the same patch on the front right chest that has the squadron One Five Four under the patch. Front left chest has a 154 button and yellow ribbon, a name tag, and his Rate Wings. Left sleeve American flag. Wear guard jacket is a size large and has furry cold weather collar. The jacket is in good condition with a few areas on a sleeve where a small tear (see pic). All zippers work as well as button pockets. The insides are good, but, there is a tear on the inside that will need to be repaired (see pic). This jacket is similar to a flight jacket with a zipper compartment on the left sleeve and outer pockets for pens/pencils. Right cuff has a small area that feels like glue spot…very small but present. This Cruise jacket is great Navy history. It represents a great F-14 squadron VF-154, a great Carrier Air Wing CVW-14, the USS Constellation aircraft carrier, and a “Are you wet yet?” RIMPAC patch that’s very hard to find. It’s named and has the rating wings attached. Finally, a squadron button from VF-154. Please review pictures provided for details of condition and please ask any questions before purchase
