Description: We are pleased to present a vintage 1980s nylon "Harvard Hockey" banner. It is very, very large measuring 7'3" x 10'2" (87" x 122"). This is big enough and bold enough that it was likely hung in a very big space, like the Arena, but I don't know for sure. It is one-sided and so would read in reverse from behind. The top and bottom edges are sewn with a long pocket to hold a dowel or rod. The banner is in overall good condition. There are some light scuffs, drag marks near the bottom, a few small stains, and some scattered light soiling. On the back at the sides, some of the stitching has pulled out. The stitching of the "H" in "HOCKEY" near the edge has torn a bit (see pics). On the back at the top, there are some extra slits (like a shower curtain) where the dowel would go, maybe to accommodate alternate hanging over the years. You will probably find some assorted loose threads, nylon pulls, small stains, small soiling, as the banner is very large and hard to describe in details. Overall a really nice piece.
