Description: The listing is for a Victorian silver plate brides basket in one of the "Mask Patterns", manufactured during the 1870's and 1880's. This design is "The Bearded Man" design which differs depending on the maker. The base is marked with the number 2690 along with made and plated by Reed & Barton, in faint lettering which I am unable to capture in a photo. The basket features a swing handle which will also stay in the upright position. A glass insert can be used which would measure 7 inches wide. Size: It stands 11.5 inches tall to the top of the handle, 7 inches tall to the rim of the basket and measures 8.25 inches wide at the widest point.
