Description: A special antique piece of Victorian ephemera, a Christmas die cut, made in Germany and distributed by International Art Publishing out of New York. Strong embossing and colors, graphics include Christmas holly in a leather suitcase with a Christmas Cheer message and an 1883 calendar. It has this amazing calendar underneath the holly, assembled with a stick type paper fastener. A bit delicate so I didn't want to handle it too much but you can see by the pictures that there are sheets with the calendar (2 months per sheet) underneath the holly. Original red and green silk ribbon for hanging! In wonderful condition, a few small edge chips to die cuts, incredibly well maintained and preserved over the years. Measures 13.5 x 8.25 inches. Please see store listings for additional Christmas and Victorian ephemera. Photos are of the actual item being sold and they are to be considered part of the description.
