Victorian Purple Cherry Print Silk 3 PC Dress w Lace SM

Description: IF you are buying more than 1 item, please don't pay for anything until you want it mailed out. If for some reason you have to pay at purchase, I'll refund the extra when I ship it. This lovely 2 pc dress is made from silk, it's a purplish/ royal blue shade with white cherries. The bodice is lined in brown cotton, the cotton is splitting and portions of the lining have been replaced. It has a fishnet lace backed in ivory silk (silk is in poor condition). It has pleats from the yoke over the bust, it has lovely sleeves with lace above the elbow, it's ruffled with a balloon bottom below the lace and long fitted lower sleeves. It has light underarm stains, there were patches made from the same fabric and put under the arms, a few minor light spots on lace and silk. The original high collar was velvet, it has a piece of velvet lightly stitched over it with modern lace, I would have left it alone with the new velvet and not added the lace, but it's easy to take off or repair. There's a separate square collar that goes over the yoke of the bodice, the lace might be a replacement, it's coming loose from the silk band in back, but is only hand stitched on, some light stains to the silk on the underside of the collar. It measures 33 inches around the bust, across the back shoulder is 12, waist is 26 and shoulder to center front point is 18 1/2 inches. The skirt is lined with brown cotton, the cotton has tears, some long and lining should be removed or replaced. It has 2 flounces around the bottom and trimmed with embroidered lace around the front to the side back, it probably went all the way around, but some was removed. It does match the lace on the bodice. the waistband is damaged in back where the hooks and eyes are sewn. It has a velvet ribbon facing the hem, it looks like the silk on the skirt is excellent. It measures 24 1/4 inches around the waist, hips full and it's 45 1/2 inches long in front. Thank you for looking at my auction.
