Victorinox Adventurer Swiss Army Knife

Description: The Victorinox Adventurer is a large (4 3/8 in. / 111 mm) two layer Swiss Army knife with a locking main blade and the tools most people find useful. Most Adventurer knives are made with a red matte finish with the Victorinox cross stamped (not inlaid) on one scale. If you carry it in your pocket the cross wears off in 6 months or so. This Adventurer is an A. The handles and blades show little wear and the locking mechanism is tight. The Adventurer has a large locking blade with a bayonet point, can opener with small screwdriver, bottle opener with large screwdriver, Phillips screwdriver, awl with sewing eye, toothpick, tweezers, and lanyard ring. I am primarily a collector, but searching for new and unusual models often brings me duplicates and perfectly useful knives that I cannot keep. I share these on eBay. I classify knives by condition according to the scale below. Grading Scale: A+ new in box, with paperwork. Box may be worn, but the knife has never been carried, sharpened, or used. Collector or museum quality. A new or like new, but no box or paperwork. Collector or museum quality. B+ Excellent condition, no obvious wear, clean, tight, complete. Good for a collector, but probably not a museum. B Excellent condition with some wear on the scales (handles). Clean, tight, complete, but the Swiss cross may be barely visible. A great carrier but not pretty enough for a collector’s display. B- Some wear but still an excellent carrier. Clean, tight, complete. C+ A good carrier. Clean and complete with excellent utility value. C A good used pocketknife but nothing more. Everything is there and it all works, but if you dropped it in the creek you might not jump in to retrieve it. D Sold as is. Might be useful for parts or dissection. F You’ll never see this because they end up in my trash can. If you are not happy with your purchase when you get it, send it back. I’ll refund your purchase price.
