Description: This toy is for use on antique style disc record players such as the Victrola, Columbia, Sonora and many other machines that play 78 rpm records. It consists of a base mechanism, weight assembly and spindle clamp which are identical to the well known dancing toys made by the National Toy Co. in the 1920's. The figure is jointed and I have based it on the famous "Ragtime Rastus" dancer. These toys are entirely handmade and hand painted - all parts made in USA. The dancing is very lively. The toy usually does not work on the Edison "Diamond Disc" record players. If you have any questions regarding this toy, you can contact me and I will try to assist you. Your satisfaction is guaranteed and you can return the unit for any reason.Keep in mind that these items are intended for antique phonograph collectors and are not really intended for children. Like the originals, these toys contain a painted cast lead weight and some of the metal parts such as the rod that supports the figure are of small diameter.
