The sling is OD Green in color, with D-Tip's. No fraying, no rips or tears. This sling is in Unissued Condition. Nylon was used during the Vietnam War to prevent the rotting problem with canvas, from exposure to the jungle climate and moisture. This sling was commonly used on the M1 Carbine. These slings are NOS (new old stock) they have never been used.
