vintage 16mm film reel - Dirty Work (1933) Laurel & Hardy, Memory Lingers On+

Description: Here we have a vintage 16mm film, on a steel 1600 ft (13.5" diameter) reel. I watched the entire film myself, and all pictures were taken from the viewing of my copy on my Eiki Slimline SSL-O projector. The reel is about 3/4" shy of being entirely full, so I'd guess it's about 50 minutes total. PLEASE NOTE that this film does have a vinegar smell, and the film is in the early stages of warping. The projector wouldn't run the leader, but after I wound past the first 3 feet or so it did play fine, and the sound is excellent. However, the frames tend to go slightly in and out of focus rapidly, which I imagine is probably an effect of the warping. The Laurel and Hardy segment is the very last one, and had less of this focus issue, I think. Aside from the Laurel and Hardy film "Dirty Work", this reel also containers 3 musical numbers, and 2 separate segments of "The Memory Lingers On" which I think is a retrospective the recent news. They mention early movie stars, Lindbergh and Amelia Earhart flights, Dempsey fights, return of GIs from WWI, Teddy Roosevelt, and other figures of the early 1900s. There is no mention of WWII, so I'm guessing these two segments pre-date the war or even it's lead-up. So early to mid 1930s I'm guessing. I could not find these clips on youtube, so I thought someone might be interested in preserving them perhaps. The musical numbers are:- "Sombrerita Mia" with Carmelita - "Russian Revels" with The Lucky Girls - "Brazil" with Maria Del Ray and Raoul Martinez This movie is from a large estate collection of vintage films. I have several films from shorts to full length movies - some silent. Up to 4 large reels per film. I'll be listing them slowly as I get them watched.
